Axé exclusivement sur les pratiques sonores et établi à Winnipeg (Canada) depuis 1998, le festival Send+Receive est un des festivals d’arts médiatiques les plus anciens d’Amérique du Nord. Cameron Scott, directeur du festival, nous présentera son mandat, sa mission, ses activités récentes et le contexte unique de l’événement, autant dans son approche communautaire, qu’artistique.

Send + Receive
send + receive is an international festival of experimental music and sound art based in Winnipeg, Canada, on Treaty 1 Territory and the homeland of the Métis Nation. Entering its twenty-sixth year of operations, send + receive is one of the longest running media arts festivals in North America focusing exclusively on the production and reception of sound. In addition to an annual festival, send + receive hosts pop-up screenings, installations, curatorial projects, and performances throughout the year.
